Wireshark QMI dissector bugfixes and new services

The Wireshark QMI dissector is seeing a few commits again, after a long time. Nothing ground-breaking, but two fixes related to indications’ descriptions and support for new services added to libqmi.

Wireshark QMI

Wireshark QMI indication description bugfixes

Commit “Fix indications TLV decoding” fixes wrong TLV names for indications. Before that commit the TLV name was collected from the response data structure of the QMI request with the same msg id, if available.

Commit “Fix Message Header message description for indications” fixes the indication name in the Message Header panel. Before that commit the name was the one of the QMI request with the same msg id, if available.

New libqmi services support

Since the last commit for qmi services support in the dissector, new services have been added to libqmi. Commit “Add new libqmi services” add them also to the dissector.

The only one that is left out is service SSC (Snapdragon Sensor Core) that is just used through qrtr, so it does not apply to USB.
